Tips to Help You Enjoy the Gathering
Bring the Right Stuff
- Tent, sleeping bags, blankets, rain gear and clothing for both warm and cool weather. Plan for a wide temperature range, from cool to warm, wet to dry. An extra set of warm, dry clothes in a waterproof package is a good idea, too.
- Towels and toiletries including medications you may need. Avalon Isle has hot showers.
- Flashlight and extra batteries
- Feast gear and eating utensils
- Food and drinks for yourself and a bit to share. The only meal provided will be the Saturday night evening meal, so be sure you bring enough to meet your needs. Don’t forget snack foods!
- Ritual gear, drums and other musical instruments.
- Costumes and/or materials for decorating your campsite.
-
Tents, sleeping bags and blankets.
-
Something to cook on (for under 20$ you can get a small grill)
-
Plenty of water (1 Gallon to 1.5 Gallons per person per day is enough)
-
Medical supplies, including bandages, hand disinfectant, and any prescriptions you take.
(there will be no medical staff on duty at this gathering)
-
Medical Insurance Card
-
Matches and lighters
- Positive attitude
Do the Right Things
- Treat everyone with respect and courtesy. That includes respecting paths and personal boundaries. No means no – period.
- Parents, be aware of and responsible for your children at all times.
- Avalon Isle is sacred ground. Observe posted signs and boundaries. If in doubt, ask.
- Respect the land by leaving your campsite cleaner than you found it.
- Alcohol is fine. Drunken behavior is not. Drink reasonably and responsibly.
- Leave illegal drugs, firearms, bad attitudes, violence and other inappropriate behaviors elsewhere. Karma’s a bitch and so is security.
- Prescriptions must be in your own name, and only be used by the person whose name is on the prescription bottle.
-
No alcohol for minors, including your own children.
-
You must respect the owner's property and all local laws. This also means that when you leave your camping area,
it must look better than when you found it.
-
We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone for any reason.
-
No pets or familars are allowed, except service animals.
-
No personal, campsite fires without the express permission of the
Property Owners, Security and Gathering Coordinators.
-
All minors not accompanied by a custodial parent or legal guardian,
must be accompanied by an adult (over 21) appointed by their custodial parent or legal guardian.
They must also, present to Registration three copies of the following form, which is available by clicking
the link here.
-
If you are caught breaking any of the rules,
we reserve the right to not allow you into the gathering and/or remove you from the gathering with no refund.
If local laws are broken, we will involve law enforcement!
- Due to limited space, registration is limited to the first 100 people that register on a first come,
first serve basis.

Many Paths is an umbrella organization which carries on the Dream, teachings and works of Lord Serphant. We host safe, family oriented gatherings open to all faiths and paths. Currently we host Beltane at Avalon in Cosby, Tn. We also help The Order of the Royal Oak to host Fire Festival and Highlands of TN Samhain Gathering at the same location. We have become a networking system of old friends who had lost touch with each other and new friends looking for family. Our family is always growing and we have many exciting plans for expansion in the future.
